General description

The Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme aims to promote cultural understanding, economic and political relations between Hungary and other countries. The scholarships entitles students for full time studies in Hungarian higher education institutions that are part of the programme.

The scholarship covers the following items:

  • tuition fee
  • monthly personnel allowances
  • free dormitory or living allowances
  • participation in Wesley’s mentor programme for international students
  • free use of all Campus services
  • health insurance

Application information

The national coordinator of the programme is Tempus Public Foundation.

Applications shall not be submitted to higher educational institution directly.

Preparatory programme

Program objectives

The preparatory programme is organized for international students who intend to participate in academic programmes in Hungarian language. The duration of the course is 2 semesters.  By completing the programme the students gain relevant skills to be able to start bachelor studies in any Hungarian institute of high education.

Environmental Science BSc

Program objectivesThe programme aims to train professionals who can overview understand and manage environmental problems, risks and hazards. Our students base their skills in Natural Sciences and develop their management skills in the fields of planning, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, related to environmental protection, rational environmental management, sustainable development, sustainable security, environmental conflict management.
