Our college has been invited by the French company Trend and Training to participate in the online conference Digitalisation of Universities on 12 April.
The speakers were from the University of Trento in Italy, Aalto University in Finland, Sakarya Business College in Turkey, Politehnica University in Romania, WSB Merito University in Poland, Modul University in Vienna, Sultan Qaboos University in Oman and Royal Holloway University in the UK. Topics discussed included building the university campus of the future and the experiences of different countries, how to build an IT infrastructure, how to support an ecosystem of digital services and how to create an effective profile, and how to support university staff. They also discussed issues of digital accessibility, inclusive design and development processes, and how universities should prepare their students for the rapidly evolving digital challenges in today’s society. They exchanged experiences on past, present and future digitalisation issues and possible solutions.
