From 17-20 March, a group of 14 Estonian theologians and students from the Baltic Methodist Theological Seminary in Tallin visited us. They came to build contacts and to get to know each other’s work. The programme included joint learning during the professional day, a tour of our institutions, a visit to the Dohány Street Synagogue, a visit to the Holocaust Museum and the Rock Hospital, and a visit to our church in Békásmegyer. It is also important to mention the meetings with Mr Rector. During the joint study we were able to listen to lectures on the ancient prophets, current theological issues of Christian mission today and Judaism after the destruction of the Second Temple. The group was accompanied to the programmes by Michaela Szász and János Bibó, and we would like to thank Tímea Bagdi and Judit Mann for their help in organising and running the programmes.
