The head of our Department of Environmental Security, Dr. Zsuzsanna Plank, visited the Universidad Jaume I (https://www.uji.es/) University in Castellón de la Plana, Spain, as part of the Erasmus+ Programme. During the mission, she conducted successful negotiations, the most important discussions and professional results of which were the following:

David Marí, Head of the University’s Sustainability Office, gave information on the sustainable operation of the Higher Education Institution, presenting the economic assets used for teaching, which are present in the territory of the University. A consultation was held with Mrs. María Jesus Munoz, Head of Department, on cooperation in the field of sustainability education. She and Professor Terese Gallego reviewed the practical educational possibilities of sustainability by visiting the school building, designed by the students and constructed using environmentally friendly materials.

Roger Esteller, who heads the UJI tender office, reviewed the EU tenders, with the help of which they can finance the joint project plans. Finally, vice-rector Eva Camacho expressed her support for the outlined joint project ideas, expressing her willingness to cooperate as partners of our College; the vice-rector also agreed on the exchange of teachers and students, as well as on organizing staff trainings.
